Bits from my personal collection – Avalon Hill

To keep it old school and within the time of the release of the very first boxed home computer games, Avalon Hill was right there in the mist of the action. Like SSI Avalon Hill used a bigger box format than Epyx, inspired by the board games of the era.
Avalon Hill released 6 games in 1980, these were also released later in the early eighties for other computer architectures.

While Epyx went the CRPG route with a lot of their first released games both SSI and Avalon Hill went the strategic/war game route. Both SSI and Microcomputer Games Inc., which were Avalon Hill’s computer development division, had their roots planted in strategic war games

Here we have my sealed Avalon Hill collection.
