As I’m tied up in other projects at the moment, upcoming posts will be nothing more than a few pictures and a gameplay video. Hopefully, I’ll have more time later in the year to continue doing more extensive posts.
Thief, written by Bob Flanagan and published by Datamost for the Apple II in 1982.
Avoid enemy vehicles while collecting cash to progress to the next level. There are a total of 9 different stages, with 7 difficulty levels that set the speed of vehicles. The player gains 100 points for each piece of loot collected. The enemy vehicles will incessantly travel toward the player, and if two enemy vehicles come in contact, they will be destroyed. The player has a total of 3 cars and will lose a vehicle when they run into another vehicle. Lose 3 cars, and it’s game over.

I ported this game for Datamost to the Panasonic JR 200. It was a simple game but fun to play. Vintage Geek reviewed that version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vpn3v2CZYYA . How did I do?
Hi Peter, thanks, I didn’t know it was ported to the JR200. Looks like you did a great job. Really fun and challenging game.
